The GovTrack Sales Assistant & Account Management Services are started in conjunction with, or after the performance of the Jump Start #20 "Full Service" Government Marketing Program (or) GSG’s Customized On-site Government Marketing, Business Development & Training Program.

With GovTrack we take care of all the ongoing critical government account management and bid tracking work so you don’t have to. You will no longer need to worry about whether your salespeople are making their sales call and working their government accounts correctly. Why? Because with the GovTack Sales Assistant Program, GSG makes the regularly scheduled sales call to each government procurement office/agency on your behalf to manage the accounts, conduct positive account PR, and to track and locate the bid opportunities as made available.

The five critical elements of GovTrack:

(1) Sales Assistant Account Management Sales Calls
In accordance to the procurement laws and required agency procedures, GSG will make regular and ongoing direct telephone sales calls to the government procurement offices/agencies to conduct the critical account management services. In which, GSG will work on your behalf to locate both the published and non-published bid and contract opportunities as available, and to help build rapport through our positive public relations effort. (All of our agencies are managed in our Contact Management Software, and each procurement office/agency is scheduled for a consistent account sales call. Each office is contacted in a frequency based upon the level of government, size of agency, and the overall purchasing volume for said agency. For example, some agencies are contacted every 20, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 days based upon the aforementioned factors.) Moreover, as bid and contract opportunities are located and identified for your company, you will be notified of the opportunity and it’s basic bid details. At this point you can determine if you want to pursue that specific opportunity, and if so, take it from there and bid on the bid/RFP, or you can wait for the next one.

Unlike other vendors that may register, but never follow-up or contact the agencies ever again. We know from experience that true success comes from regular ongoing contact, and knowing what, when and where the business is taking place. This task is critical for ongoing success.

(2) Published Bid Tracking, Location & Notification.
Many agencies will publish their bid information on websites if it reaches certain dollar thresholds. In doing this, they may required you, (or "us" in this case on your behalf), to monitor the published bid websites in order to track and obtain the bid details. Therefore, on your behalf, we will be monitoring on a regular basis the published bid websites in order to track the basic bid information, and to notify you of those opportunities as well. We will provide you with the basic bid or contract information such as the Agency Name, Purchasing Contact, Bid Number and a brief bid description as the information is made available. Then, if you want to respond to that particular bid or contract opportunity, "you" will then need to officially request it, or download the bid yourself in order to respond to it.

(3) Bid Consultation Reviews.
GSG will also provide ongoing bid consultation reviews as needed, but limited to one per month, to help maximize your chances of being awarded bids and contracts. We will also continue to brain storm with you to help develop new strategies and techniques based upon your business, market and capabilities to be leveraged in the bidding process as your bidding practices evolve. This will help to insure that everything is on target so you have a better chance of reaching your sales goals. Especially since you are still responsible for conducting the core bid and account management work in responding to the bid and contract opportunities, etc.

(4) Procurement/Agency Database Updates.
Several times throughout the year we perform updates to our government procurement database. As a GovTrack service user, you will automatically be provided copies of the new updated database information as formal updates are made.

(5) Ongoing New Sales Staff Training.
Initially during the performance of the Jump Start #20 "Full Service" Government Marketing Program (or) GSG’s Customized On-site Government Marketing, Business Development & Training Program which is a pre-requirement for the GovTrack Program, your current salespeople are fully trained. During the GovTrack service period, any new salespeople that may be newly assigned to government sales at your company can be trained free of charge.
